Pet Safe Fence

A Pet Safe fence can be a great idea if you want an invisible pet fence for your yard.  Pet Safe makes a wide variety of wireless fences and accessories. In fact it has essentially become the standard for underground pet fencing.

Electric fences are very reliable and much less expensive then traditional fences. When compared to the cost of actually installing a regular fence, the price of these wireless dog fences is almost insignificant.

Another great advantage of having a Pet Safe fence is that the dog can’t climb over it, jump over it, or dig underneath of it.

One of the biggest advantages of underground pet fences is that they do not block the view of your house.

Pets Safe Fence Kit

Most Pet Safe fence kits include a waterproof receiver collar for your dog and a transmitter with a power adapter.  The collar is adjustable and has an ultra light receiver attached to it.

The receiver and transmitter has a range of up to 10 acres. In order to get to the 10 acre limit you would need an additional wire, which is available to purchase as an expansion kit.

Don’t worry if you are not tech savy, these kits come with a step by step installation guide for you, and a training guide for your dog.

You can also use this kit with multiple pet, you just need to buy additional receiver collars.

Installation

Installing this is very easy, all you have to do is dig a shallow trench where you want your wire to go and lay the wire down and cover it back up. Then you just need to insert the two ends into your transmitter.

Next, just place the collar on your dog and you’re ready to go.

In order to help train your dog  there are 50 boundary flags included it.  These should be used until your dog get used to the boundaries of the yard.
